Client Reviews

In their own words

British Expat · Pattaya

"My wife and I had thirty years of paperwork — pension letters, title deeds, insurance policies — all stacked in boxes we hadn't opened since we moved to Thailand. Siriporn helped us sort through all of it in a single afternoon. We left with an index we could actually use. I wish we'd done this years ago."

"After my father passed, we found documents in three different locations and had no clear idea what most of them were. The Full Archive Programme took us through everything step by step. We had questions that clearly needed a lawyer — they were direct about that and gave us the right direction. The archive itself has been invaluable since."

"I came to the Succession Basics Workshop because I wanted to understand the Thai system before meeting with a lawyer. David explained it clearly and without condescension. I came away with a proper list of questions to ask at my legal appointment, which made that meeting far more productive. Good value."

"My mother is getting older and wanted to make sure her wishes were written down somewhere her children could find and understand. The programme gave her a space to do that properly. The team were kind and unhurried throughout. My mother felt heard. That mattered to us as a family."

"I booked the Document Set-Up session mostly to get one afternoon organised. I came away with a labelled archive covering both my Australian and Thai records, a clear note of what I still need to locate, and a recommendation for a local lawyer for one question they couldn't help with themselves. Exactly what I needed."

"I went to the workshop uncertain what to expect. It was more practical and more grounded than I anticipated — no jargon, no hard sell for further services. I understand the process now and know exactly who I need to contact next. Worth the time and the price."

Case Studies

Three family journeys with Provenance

Case Study 01

An expatriate couple preparing for the future — Pattaya, 2024

Starting Point

A British couple in their sixties had been in Pattaya for twelve years. Both had documents from their time in the UK as well as Thai property paperwork, bank records, and health insurance files. Nothing was organised. They weren't sure what they had.

What We Did

Over two sessions, we went through all the documents they brought, created a labelled archive with sections for UK records, Thai records, and joint matters, and produced a two-page index. We identified three gaps and signposted them to a local notary for one matter that needed formal attention.

Outcome

A complete, labelled archive. A written index both could use. A clear list of next steps, including the specific professional referral. The couple described the outcome as "the most useful afternoon we've spent since moving to Thailand."

Case Study 02

Three adult children after their father's passing — Chon Buri, 2024

Starting Point

Three siblings contacted us six weeks after their father died. Documents were split between his home, a safety deposit box, and a folder at a relative's house. No one had a clear picture of what existed.

What We Did

We ran the Full Archive Programme over four sessions, working through all the material brought in across three meetings and producing a full inventory. We also helped the family structure a folder for their father's personal wishes, drawn from notes he had left informally. Where formal legal matters arose, we directed them clearly to appropriate professionals.

Outcome

A complete inventory the lawyer could work from directly. The family described the process as removing "a significant weight" — being able to arrive at their legal appointments with organised paperwork rather than boxes made a tangible difference to those meetings.

Case Study 03

An individual planning ahead — Jomtien, 2025

Starting Point

A single woman in her seventies, retired, wanted to make sure her affairs were in order before she needed to think about it urgently. She had records from three countries and no clear inventory. She also wanted to write down some personal wishes for her family abroad.

What We Did

We began with the Succession Workshop so she had context for the Thai system, then moved into two sessions of archive work. The wishes document was drafted across two conversations and reviewed carefully for clarity. We referred her to a Thai lawyer for two matters that required formal professional input.

Outcome

A structured archive, a wishes document her family could read, and two productive meetings with a lawyer she felt prepared for. She called it "exactly the kind of sensible organisation I couldn't seem to do on my own."
